Transforming discarded materials into one-of-a-kind creations

Artist Statement

As I live through the second half of my life I am learning the beauty of second chances, of the natural world, and simple pleasures. My creations embody these concepts by using salvaged materials, found objects, repurposed treasures, the reimagining of space, and representations of Earth, Water, Fire, and Sky through which Spirit channels.

I use things I find while wandering—stones, fossils, crystals, nests, seed pods, feathers, moss, sticks, driftwood, and items I salvage, such as embroidery hoops, jewelry remnants, vintage chandelier crystals, scrap metal. Almost everything I create is one of a kind and contains beautiful imperfections, as we all do.

Custom Gifts & Memorials

Memorials

Custom memorials provide a way to honor your loved one who lives in Spirit with a truly personal touch. Clients choose a memorial type from the list of options and complete the questionnaire. A possession from the loved one, such as a piece of jewelry or figurine, is usually incorporated into the memorial. The chosen item is shipped to me at the client’s expense. If multiple items are sent I will choose from them and return the extras with the completed project.

Memorial Options

Suncatchers are designed to hang in a window, catch light, and cast rainbows. Suncatchers are made from repurposed jewelry, chandelier crystals, and other vintage items. Pieces of old jewelry with sentimental meaning can be incorporated into these.

Zen Garden Altars provide an interactive way to remember your loved one. They are tabletop boxes with sand and tools, stones, candles, and other vintage items. Personal items from the loved one are usually incorporated. Vintage boxes or trays are used when available. These can be created without the sand component, if desired. Altars sit on your tabletop or in your meditation space with room to add plants or treasures as desired (such as a pretty stone you found on a walk while thinking of your loved one).

Custom Gifts

I also offer intuitive custom gifts that can be ordered for a loved one. Clients complete the questionnaire about the recipient. I will get a feel for the recipient, then go into my creative, meditative space and put together a gift box which is sent directly to the recipient. (*This is not negotiable.) The gift will contain representations of earth, air, water, and fire and will likely include some vintage and natural found objects. It’s pretty woo-woo, if I’m honest, but very cool. Vintage boxes are used when available.

The client will receive shipment tracking when the gift is shipped to the recipient.

*”Why won’t you send the mystery gift to me? I ordered it!” you ask.  Because its not for you. You will open it (yes, you will) and the energy will fly out.

What do they cost? Prices begin at $75 plus shipping. Larger items or special requests may add to the cost. Payment of $50 is paid at the time of ordering along with completion of the questionnaire. No extra costs will be incurred without customer approval. When the project is complete, I will send an invoice for shipping and any additional (approved) costs. Once that invoice is paid, you will receive shipment tracking.

How long does it take? That depends! Extra time may be needed for additional correspondence or if the customer is sending a personal possession for incorporation into the project. Without these delays, my project completion time is usually within five days. If I find I need more time, I will let you know.

Testimonials

I ordered two personalized gift boxes from Scrap Art Crone for my friends, and they were incredible. Each box was clearly crafted with raw, attuned intention; she somehow channeled a deep understanding of who my friends are. From curious natural artifacts to created art pieces to books, the selections were profoundly personal, perfectly suited to my people – matching them in a way that felt grounded in an intuition that I’ll gladly pay for access to at my next opportunity. The rustic vessels used to hold the items she included added to the authenticity, and each collection is now sat in a place of honor in each friend’s home. This purchase was more than a gift—it was a deeply meaningful experience.

My husband and I are in awe of the memorial suncatcher Ronna created putting her heart into the making of mom’s beautiful suncatcher. What a wonderful way to remember a loved one!

45th wedding anniversary suncatcher…
We both love the suncatcher! It’s perfect with the sapphire blue beads and wedding band symbolism… and the simplicity of it. Thank you so much! I love your thoughtfulness.
